Directing for the Theatre

Sam Wlters leads a seminar examining directing and asking why we have directors, where they come from and what they do - and why they are necessary.

Usually our seminars are related specifically to the plays and tend to put the play and the writer we are presenting at the time into a wider context. But this seminar will touch on the theatre as a whole and will look at the more practical side of the putting on of plays. Trainee directors Andy Brunskill and David Siebert will also be discussing their experiences as directors.
